The transformation from Jekyll to Hyde.

I'm excited to share the updates and changes that I've been working on for my website. For the past 4 years, my website has been powered by a web server that I wrote and named "Hyde", which automatically deploys, builds, and serves my static Jekyll website.

One of the most notable changes I've made is the addition of a cards against humanity generator. Visitors can generate and display random white answer cards from the game, in response to a randomly chosen black question card. Visitors can also save their favorite answer pairs and even share them with friends or on social media. This feature has been a work in progress for the past few years and I'm thrilled to see that so many people are enjoying it!

In addition to this, I've also made updates to other areas of my website. I've created a searchable database of ATLAS Item IDs and ATLAS Creature IDs, however, there may be items & creatures that are in the game now and have not been added to my database yet. I've also started writing Minecraft plugins that can be used on servers running Spigot/PaperMC and have made an index of available plugins on my website for ease of access.

I have started working a "normal" full-time job, and then the demands of working 2 jobs over the holiday season had consumed much of my time. As a result, my writing, programming, and sanity have all suffered. But I'm excited to continue working on my website and creating new features for all of my visitors, now that things have settled down.

I am thrilled to share that the recent holiday season went very well for my blog, receiving over 10,000 visitors just over the turn of the New Year alone! This is a great indication that my hard work and dedication is paying off, and I look forward to continue producing content and building on this success in the future.

Lastly, I want to mention that from my Coding Activity page, you can see that I have been working on something lately in my free time. I'm not quite ready to reveal exactly what it is yet, but I'm really excited about it and I hope to be able to share more information soon! So stay tuned!
